Method
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking tray with foil or a silicone mat.
- Arrange the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared tray with a small gap between each fillet.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, honey, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika until fully combined.
- Pour the honey garlic butter glaze over the salmon fillets. Arrange lemon slices on and around the salmon.
- Bake for 8 minutes.
- Open the oven and spoon the pooled glaze back over each fillet. Bake for an additional 4 to 7 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches 145 degrees F at the thickest part. Watch closely in the final minutes -- the glaze caramelizes quickly.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
Notes
Always line the baking tray -- the honey glaze caramelizes and sticks to a bare pan. Baste the salmon with the pooled glaze after the first 8 minutes. Thicker fillets may need the full 7 additional minutes. Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 2 days.
