Method
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Pat chicken dry with paper towels, then season evenly on both sides with salt and black pepper. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet without overlapping.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees F. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- While the chicken bakes, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice in a bowl. Let the Bang Bang sauce rest at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
- Slice or chop rested chicken into slider-sized pieces. Layer each slider bun with chicken, a generous drizzle of Bang Bang sauce, fresh lettuce, and sliced tomato. Add optional toppings as desired and serve immediately.
Notes
Make the Bang Bang sauce up to 24 hours ahead for even deeper flavor. Chicken can be cooked a day in advance and reheated at 375 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes. Store sauce and toppings separately from assembled sliders for best texture.
